More than 1,200 Prospective Homebuyers Flock to Skye Canyon For First Look Model Home Preview on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015

Model home preview featured 10 model homes from Pulte Homes, Inc. and Woodside Homes

LAS VEGAS (Aug. 17, 2015) – Skye Canyon, a 1,700-acre master-planned community in Northwest Las Vegas, attracted more than 1,200 prospective homebuyers to its First Look, a model home preview, on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event featured 10 model homes from the community’s first two builders Pulte Homes, Inc. and Woodside Homes; Century Communities will unveil its models later this year. Both Pulte and Woodside reported selling homes within the first few hours of the event, proving the excitement over the first master-planned development to break ground in Las Vegas in nearly 10 years. During the event, guests toured Skye Canyon model homes, viewed renderings of the community and its amenities and participated in a Base Camp Passport Giveaway that offered the opportunity to win prizes from Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, The Resort at Mt. Charleston and Osprey, a leading brand of backpacks.

At completion, Skye Canyon, a base camp for the great outdoors, will offer 9,000 homes from entrylevel to move-up and luxury, along with a gaming location and various retail locations. Skye Canyon’s amenities include designated bike lanes on all major streets, an extensive network of hiking and biking trails, community parks, among others. The social hub of the community will be Skye Canyon Park with an 8,142-square-foot contemporary rustic community center, Skye Center, which will include a juice bar, coffee shop, open-air cantina and wine bar, outdoor patio, fireplace and fire pits, as well as interactive home finding tools. Also located at Skye Canyon Park will be Skye Fitness, a 9,663-square-foot facility that will include state-of-the-art fitness equipment, an oversized swimming pool, play and splash parks, among other amenities.
