What: Skye Canyon, a 1,700-acre master-planned community in Northwest Las Vegas, hosts
First Look, a preview of its first 10 model homes on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015. Guests can walk through homes from the first two homebuilders, Pulte Homes, Inc., and Woodside Homes. A base camp for the great outdoors, Skye Canyon will showcase renderings of the community as well as Skye Center, an 8,142-square-foot contemporary rustic community center that will include a juice bar, coffee shop, and an open-air cantina and wine bar, and Skye Fitness, a 9,663-square-foot facility that will include a swimming pool and splash parks among other amenities. Both are slated to open in early 2016. Guests can enter the Base Camp Passport Giveaway and have a chance to win prizes including a Party Lounge & Ski Package for 10 people from Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, a getaway to the Resort at Mt. Charleston and backpacks from Osprey, the leading brand of backpacks.
